The client requested a traditional aesthetic built to traditional standards. The final design is for a small country estate with the building form creating a sheltered courtyard. The design takes full advantage of stunning views over the River Tweed. The house is to be faced with natural stone and a slate roof.
Eco-home in the Countryside
This client requires a high standard of design and quality of build but to a fixed budget. This project is at the Outline Planning stage and is programmed to go on site in Spring 2007.
Inverdunning House – Dunning, Perthshire
This project required Algo to extend a beautiful, traditional, listed, stone-built country mansion to double the size. The considerable undertaking involved sourcing similar stone and external fittings to match those of the original building. They handled the project from the interpretation of design through to the landscaping, driveway and build completion.
