Administrative Assistant
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional Administrative Assistant to take up a permanent post within a successful and growing company in Perthshire.
The Algo administration office operates from the family owned business centre. The team is looking for a candidate who thrives on a busy work load and who can work strictly to deadlines. Character and personality plays heavily on the dynamics of the team as the person should be light hearted but be able to take their role seriously with an unflappable approach in supporting the key players with their work.
Duties include:
• Providing administration support to Algo (Blairgowrie) Ltd as delegated.
• General day to day duties, dealing with clients, registering incoming / outgoing mail / important documents.
• Telephone answering and dealing with enquiries.
• Administration including filing, database management and the administration of original documents.
• Maintain and update any files, records or directories.
• Type and prepare documents and correspondence. This includes producing high quality, original letters and a range of documents which will require effective Excel and Word skills. Maintain faxing facilities and undertake sending of faxes as and when requested.
• Working as a team with the other administrative staff providing cover as required.
• Answering queries
• Updating and adhering to processes and procedures for the Office
• Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
• Ad hoc duties as required during the day to day running of the Office
Skills/Knowledge required:
• Knowledge and experience of the construction industry
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at various levels
Skills/Knowledge an advantage:
• Sage Line 50 and Sage Construct
• Tracker Software
Salary: Dependent upon Experience
