Maguire Building, Dollar Academy
This new build provides students with comprehensive facilities
including a sports hall, theatre, arts and crafts room and Captain’s
Room with commanding views of the Ochils. Algo's design had to complement existing
architecture whilst providing a modern and innovative solution.
Craigclowan Preparatory School, Perth
A challenging brief to construct a 2,400 sq.m all-weather sports
facility, artificial ski slope and astro-turf pitch, on a hill
overlooking Perth. Algo contrived a practical solution to achieve
completion, on a restricted budget, during busy term time.
New School of Butterstone - Perthshire
Algo's ongoing relationship with Butterstone is testimony to their ability to deliver creative solutions on brief and on time. Their latest project, the fourth phase, involved the creation of two new classrooms and sports facilties within a limited space. Innovative design and construction techniques enabled Algo to complete the build to complement the existing structure.
The Risk Factory - Edinburgh
In designing and constructing The Risk Factory and the surrounding landscaping, Algo created the first purpose-built, permanent centre for community safety education in Scotland. The building had to accommodate volunteers undergoing training, and at the same time provide an external environment where lecturers and volunteers could unwind at the end of the working day.
Equine Centre, University of Edinburgh - Roslyn
Algo's specialist knowlege, indepth research and meticulous attention to detail proved essential to the design and build of Edinburgh University's Equine Centre. The state-of-the-art facilities include training and research complex, purpose built classrooms, horse preparation areas, operating suites, equine hospital and diagnostic centre.
